Geopark is an activity to look at the connection between the ground and human.

Shikaoi Town, where Lake Shikaribetsu is located, is an activity area that has been certified as “Tokachi Shikaoi Geopark” by the Japan Geopark Network.

The theme of “Tokachi Shikaoi Geopark” is “The story of life nurtured by volcanoes and frozen state.”

At GeoPark Igloo, the exhibits make you to explore the wonders of frozen.
